The selected candidate will interface with customers and perform the following tasks:
·Understand customer's antenna subsystem requirements
·Create system interface specifications
·Understand and analyze performance simulations on different designs
·Be responsible for design, integration and testing of hardware
·BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical field is strongly preferred, plus 8 or more years experience.
·We are seeking candidates with hands-on radar hardware and radar systems experience.
·Experience with FMCW, filtering and power systems is desired.
·Experience must include antenna design, receiver design, adaptive beam forming, requirements analyses and flow down, performance estimation and integration and test.
·Requires full competency in core RF antenna skills.
·Must interface effectively with people at all levels, meet regularly with customers, provide leadership to internal groups and teams, and provide guidance to less-experienced employees.
·Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and will be required to make frequent presentations.
·In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, Masters, etc., may substitute for two years of experience.
·Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The candidate will be working the following hardware tasks:
·T/R module specification and design
·Time delay investigations
·Radiators technologies
·Receivers
·Power systems
·Control system designs
Other responsibilities include:
·Mentoring and guidance of junior-level engineers and technicians in the design, build, and test phases.
·This person would be able to apply extensive technical expertise in RF engineering and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
·Assignments may be very diverse or technically difficult.
·Will guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
·Will work without appreciable direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of an assignment.
·Will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
·Will represent the organization as the prime technical contact on projects.
