Leadership, experience and a commitment to excellence are basic for success in this position. Must have California Nursing License and a BSN along with a minimum of two years of management experience. Clinical background in med/surg or labor and delivery is highly desired. Strong communication skills, and commitment to excellence are also required along with demonstrated ability to motivate, encourage and support staff, patients and families. The Inpatient Services Manager, under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, will have responsibility for the Birth Center, Swing Bed Program, Medical/Surgical, Step Down and Infusion Center. Oversight of the nursing process, human resource management, including training and staff development, financial management, including budgeting, resource allocation and management are primary functions.
