This community hospital and regional cancer center is located in an elegant residential neighborhood. We are seeking an experienced Coding Supervisor to be our Coordinator of Data Coding Compliance. Must be a graduate of an approved Health Information Management program. CCS required, Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum three years of coding experience in an in-patient setting; one year supervisory experience. Strong medical records and HIMS background. In this role, you will plan and direct activities related to data collection, ICD-9, CPT-4, DRG, APC assignment and coding accuracy, quality and compliance. You will supervise DRG/Coding Specialist (s). You will coordinate updates related to the Encoder/Grouper, Med Series and Compliance software. Using quality and compliance tools, you will monitor daily coding of patient accounts, ensure the accuracy of clinical coding and validate data base information.
