Who are we looking for? We are currently searching for a motivated sales professional to fill our Partnership Development Director (PDD) position in the TN and MS markets.
What would the duties and responsibilities of this role be? Because the success of our program relies so heavily on the relationships we develop with city and state associations this position is the most critical within company. Working with associations is the start of our entire process. This person has the tremendous responsibility of contacting and evaluating new prospective business for COSi. This includes both professional organizations and actual client companies. In addition, the Partnership Development Director (PDD) must determine whether the association contacted is actually a good potential partner, thus guiding our company into the right partnerships. Since this person will deal directly with the Professional Organizations and the clients company personnel you will be the face of COSi!
What skills, qualifications and past experience are we looking for? * 10+ year's successful B2B selling experience or other professional environment. Equivalent demonstrated experience preparing for this set of qualifications will be considered. * 5 years Sales Management * Bachelor's Degree or higher. Education in Business, Finance, Business Management, Education/Corporate Training is desirable. * Sales Training experience a plus. * Prior Association or Business Development Director experiences a plus. * Proficiency on the phone, electronic communication, face to face, and small group presentation is mandatory. * Ability to communicate professionally and comfortably in a business environment. * Other desirable experience includes business management, operations or business management consulting, entrepreneurial or small business experience, and education or training. * Basic proficiency with business environment computing, primarily with email communication and Microsoft Office programs. * Strong time management skills and a focus on prompt communications. Dedication to the process of developing customers. * Ability to complete, present, and gain agreement on proposals for education events.

The successful candidate will be open minded and demonstrate measured selling success in past engagements.
This position is excellent for successful B2B sales professional, past or semi-retired business executives, or other person experienced with local business communities. Compensation is commensurate with the high importance of this position and will be discussed in person. This is an outside sales position with an in-person reporting relationship to the President. Travel will be limited a western TN and northern MS.
