We are continually offering new and interesting positions. We are currently hiring for a Tax Administrator. The Tax Administrator is responsible for supporting the tax department with administrative duties as well as assisting in the accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and the preparation of state annual reports. The Tax Administrator researches and responds to state notices and assessments. The administrator contacts outside advisors, legal and CPA firms, regarding tax filing information. Additionally, the Tax Administrator is responsible for the following:* Provide primary administrative support for the Tax Department.* Prepare state annual reports for various entities. Monitor state tax laws for changes to annual report requirements.* Administer the processing for corporate, partnership and various other returns for filing with the IRS and various states and localities. This includes preparing envelopes, mailing labels, certified mail receipts, obtaining signatures and timely mailing the returns/estimates/extensions.* Contact secretary of state, department of revenue, registered agents and in-house legal department to resolve problems/inquiries.* Obtain checks for payments of all estimates, extensions, income tax returns and annual reports for federal, state and local filings.* Maintain current list of officers and directors to accompany tax filings.* Maintain tax calendar for timely filing of annual reports and tax returns. * Perform basic functions with tax software. This includes preparing estimates and extensions for Corporations and Partnerships and completing basic tax returns.* Sort through incoming mail on a daily basis and independently handle or attach appropriate file/information for recipient.* Maintain schedule of tax payments that are made to taxing jurisdictions.* Prepare attachments and statements to tax returns.* Maintain files - make new files for current year tax returns and organize/scan/archive older files.* Access accounting records (JDE) and generate reports as requested.* Prepare intermediate level excel spreadsheets.* Compose and type correspondence, memos, reports.* Respond to notices received from taxing jurisdictions.* Responsible for office management including scheduling of maintenance and ordering of supplies.* Other duties as assigned.What Sets Us Apart?
