Our client develops, manufactures and globally markets progressive cavity pumps for delivering low to highly-viscous, aggressive and abrasive media. With a dense network of subsidiaries, branch offices and agencies they are currently being represented successfully in more than 50 countries.

Responsibilities
1) Manages and directs staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
2) Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
3) Facilitates new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company
4) Serves with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives
5) Responsible for all phases of product training for distributors and manufacturer’s representatives in the Western Hemisphere
6) Facilitates programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, business and technology partnerships and others as needed
7) Ensures utilization of the electronic pricing and customer resource management tools by the sales person and sales channels
8) Produces regular performance metrics for the sales channels and monitors performance against set metrics with timely and regular reporting tools
9) Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
10) Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
11) Monitors competitors’ products, sales and marketing activities
12) Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
13) Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
14) Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
15) Manages discounts allowed to distributors, OEMs and key accounts
16) Prepare and distribute performance metrics on a regular basis to all sales personnel and all sales channels
17) Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
18) Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
19) Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote products
20) Responsible for setting up, staffing, coordinating and planning all trade shows and merchandising activities
21) Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
22) Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units
23) Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
24) Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience in a related field, an MBA is preferred
2) Demonstrated people-oriented management experience, leading a team of people, and a minimum of 8-10 years overall business experience.
3) ISO 9000 procedures and policies experience desired
4) Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics and rotating equipment preferred
5) Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills
