Click Here to Apply OnlineOur client is a premier bacon company that has grown into an expanding food company. The company, which continues to grow each year, has 6 plants located across 2 states.
Responsibilities
1) Supervise day-to-day activities of assigned department
2) Provide guidance and training to hourly workforce to ensure that safety, production, quality assurance and supply chain goals are met
3) Meet schedule commitments on a timely basis by producing sufficient finished products to meet sales requirements within quality and cost goals
4) Resolve employee-disciplinary issues/concerns with assistance from manager/HR proactively
5) Plan, organize and implement QA function on the assigned shift
6) Support the plant's good manufacturing program and participate in monthly audits
7) Oversee finished goods/RM/packaging status control by assigning dispositions to all holds and managing proper corrective-action process
8) Ensure timely and accurate shipments of orders, receipt of materials and production reporting
9) Follow all sanitation, communication, safety, quality and employeerelations programs
10) Prepare and submit all required reports on a timely basis
11) Oversee plant maintenance, quality control and warehousing to obtain optimum efficiency of operations and maximize profits
12) Fix production problems
13) Follow production and company objectives to direct associates
14) Manage ovens and rooms
Requirements
1) 4 year degree is highly preferred
2) 2 to 5 years impingement oven experience
3) 5+years of supervisory experience in managing 20-50 employees
4) Experience in the food industry (meat/processing preferred)
