The chosen candidate will be involved maintenance and development of the GMIS application. GMIS uses Informatica, Business Objects, Oracle and Java. The candidate should have a structured approach to design, development and testing due to the critical nature of the application. The ability to work in a global team is essential in this role.

Responsible for the migration of complex GMIS Java batch loaders to virtual platform
Segregrate GFR / GMIS application processing
Java batch performance tuning
Migrate GMIS End of Life components to strategic virtual platforms
Optimize the GMIS JSP screens for enhanced user experience

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree is highly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 2 years working in a commercial environment with a structured development methodology
Investment banking or market data (terms & conditions / pricing) development experience is desirable but not required
Extensive experience with Java (design, coding standards, performance tuning, and debugging). Minimum 5+ years.
Strong Oracle SQL skills (query design, stored procedure development)
Working knowledge of UNIX and UNIX scripting
Experience with Subversion or other version control software is desirable but not required
Good communication skills
Multi-regional team skills (this hire must be able to actively participate in a global team)
Organized and delivery focused
