The chosen candidate will be involved in maintenance and development of the GMIS application. GMIS uses Informatica, Business Objects, Oracle and Java. The candidate should have a structured approach to design, development and testing due to the critical nature of the application. The ability to work in a global team is essential in this role.

• Responsible for the migration of complex GMIS Business Objects D/W Universe
• Assist new GMIS users with Business Objects adhoc reports
• Business Objects performance tuning
• Migrate GMIS End of Life components to strategic virtual platforms
• Cleanup the GMIS universe to optimize reports


Overview
The Product Services team is responsible for strategy, design, development, maintenance and support of the Cash Management, Reconciliation, Control & Management Information, Client Servicing Portal and Exception Management systems within our client’s IT culture. The systems hook-ups span a wide range of IT applications in the bank. The systems are deployed and used globally.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree is highly preferred.
Minimum 2 years working in a commercial environment with a structured development methodology
Investment banking or market data (terms & conditions / pricing) development experience is desirable but not required
Extensive experience with Business Objects XI R2/R3 (design, coding standards, performance tuning, and debugging). Minimum 5+ years.
Strong SQL skills (query design, stored procedure development)
Working knowledge of UNIX and UNIX scripting
Experience with Subversion or other version control software is desirable but not required
Good communication skills
Multi-regional team skills (this hire must be able to actively participate in a global team)
Organized and delivery focused
