We currently have an opening on our team for a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst provides support to various functions within and outside finance for budgeting, planning/forecasting, reporting, financial modeling and business analysis in a variety of areas. The role coordinate the development of budgets, business driving analysis and margin drivers including revenue, price promotions, consumer incentives, and cost of goods. In addition, this role has a customer facing element to it as well - strong and qualified candidates will be tasked with identifying and present insights to the internal MillerCoors audience as well as our distribution and retail partners. Following are some additional duties and responsibilities of the role: -Analyze and review forecasted and actual cost reporting. -Consolidate and review budget packages for presentation to senior management. -Consolidate monthly financial reporting and review costs and variances. -Provide balance-sheet and financial controls oversight. -Cost reporting, volume, analyzing return on investment, and building commercial culture and mindset with customers. Responsibilities include: Financial Analytics Expertise - Demonstrates insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business unit partners and to help drive business results. Process & Systems Expertise - Understands and facilitates the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business counsel to support business decision making across the enterprise. Seeks information from customers/business partners to identify and improve non-value added practices. Extracts and processes key information to draw conclusions and/or summarize results. Takes a systematic approach to evaluate alternatives, makes fact-based recommendations, evaluates the consequences of decisions. Reviews, evaluates and prioritizes tasks/project assignments, identifies key issues and clearly communicates to management. Knowledge, Experience & Education Requirements: Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate appropriate understanding and experience finance and accounting principles. The ability to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information for regulatory and legislative requirements is a must. In addition, candidates will demonstrate their ability to provide insights to the business through knowledge acquired through P&L and other data analysis. Education & Experience Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum (preferably in Business or Economics or Accounting) Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of 3 years of financial analyst experience. Skills/Knowledge: -Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies -Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and internal control. -Demonstrated commercial experience within the alcoholic beverage industry or CPG preferred. -Strong analytical ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems -SAP knowledge a plus -Strong Excel, including graphing stroke charting skills -Financial modeling -Preferred experience in Syndicated data, including Nielsen, Margin Minder, DCA -Strong communication skills (verbal and written) -Flexibility and a customer-service orientation Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate appropriate understanding and experience finance and accounting principles.
