We are offering an exciting opportunity to get involved in the early stages of business intelligence development. This role will be involved in leadership of the design, development, testing and deployment of our company’s business intelligence solutions. This person will work closely with various functional teams to translate business requirements into optimized data systems. This leadership position develops and implements systems to meet the information reporting needs of the business, including Decision Support and other reporting systems. This position will also contribute to the development of the business intelligence strategy including project management of initiatives, all phases of the systems development life cycle; resolution of issues with existing systems; and providing technical guidance to other team members. Responsibilities: • Effectively grow, manage and lead a business intelligence analysis team. Leverage various teams and resources as necessary to maximize efficiency • Build relationships with internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives • Drive the implementation of more mature development processes, methods and tools • Drive measurement and improvement of product delivery and team performance Qualifications: • Multiple years experience managing analysts and project managers on business intelligence initiatives with an ongoing desire to be hands-on driving project execution and change with a can-do attitude • Experience with all phases of software product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering • Degree in Computer Science and/or 7+ years related work experience. • Experience with different development and test methodologies is preferred • Very strong written and verbal communication as well as excellent leadership • Passionate orientation and attention to customers • Prior start-up or new initiative experience developing systems from the ground up preferred • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment
