Financial services experience required...ie: Credit card, consumer finance, real estate etc...
Provide customer centric service while meeting customer, financial, and regulatory requirements and expectations relating to the default/collections/loss mitigation department.
This encompasses customer contact, research, scheduling, staffing, service level, customer satisfaction, and retention initiatives.
Development of Operational Business Plan, including departmental budget, capacity planning, compliance and quality standards. Develop staffing capacity plans and budget drivers; ability to compare and report actual performance to planned performance.
Manage and foster staff development including coaching, counseling, and performance management.
Monitor and analyze departmental reports on a regular basis to identify trends in operations.
Ensure departmental compliance with all internal and external regulatory issues.
Ensure all departmental productivity/efficiency goals are met monthly/quarterly/annually.
Analyze workflow process and initiate changes necessary to improve default team's efficiency and reduce unit costs.
Provide motivational guidance to promote team productivity and work team culture.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or required.
Ability to develop or deliver operationally on new products.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ Years experience including 3+ years in management.
Preferred Skills
5 Years experience of financial services management experience in loss prevention.
Credit card, consumer finance real estate Loss Mitigation experience
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to lead by example and train and develop team members.
PC skills including all Microsoft skills.
Ability to work under well under pressure and meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
Relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate flexibility, and ability to implement change in a timely and effective manner.
