Electrician Apprentice - (US-CA-Roseville - 95747) Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 / Hour Minimum Education: High School Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: 9966735 Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online DESCRIPTION: Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment; and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. SKILLS: Must work independently to troubleshoot systems, perform component failure analysis, determine repair and/or installation costs, and prepare Bill of Materials with associated cost estimates. Strong focus on system safety and understanding of applicable OSHA requirements. EXPERIENCE: This is an ENTRY LEVEL position. Some hands-on residential/industrial/commercial Electrical experience preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to think independently. May be required to drive company vehicles so must have, and maintain, a valid driver's license and provide a current copy of driving record. Once hired, will take a physical examination. Other duties will be determined.
