Under the professional supervision of the Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist, the Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) is responsible for providing direct and/or consultative services to children identified as qualifying for speech therapy services. The SLP-A is responsible for documentation of services to children identified as qualifying for speech therapy services. The SLP-A is responsible for documentation of services in a timely manner. This position will also have a caseload of service coordination cases. Routine travel required within Maverick, Dimmit, and Zavala counties. Travel may be required in other Camino Real service delivery areas. Agency vehicle availability or mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle.
Bachelor s degree in communicative sciences and disorders from an accredited program with a current license and certifications as a speech/language pathologist assistant (SLPA) by the State of Texas to practice under supervision. Educational requirements contained in this field supercede any educational requirements contained elsewhere in this job posting.
