Responsibilities: The Assistant Store Manager-Fishing/Marine supports the store manager in all aspects of store merchandising and operations including selling, leadership of department leads and product specialists, customer relations, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection and training Responsibilities Assist in leading the store in the absence of and along side the Store ManagerRecruit, hire, train and develop exempt and non-exempt associates ensuring excellent customer service, operational effectiveness, high levels of product knowledge and an understanding of asset protectionEnsure prompt, efficient and courteous customer service while maintaining a clean, customer friendly store environmentReview operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management or a related field and/or equivalent experience.Proven ability to lead and develop solid teams, manage process, and build relationships and influence decisions. Outstanding oral and written communication, interpersonal, persuasive, leadership and negotiation skills are required to interact with all levels of the store team.Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. .
