Purpose
Responsible for completion of tests and assignments for daily operations. Performs technical assignments and testing in Flow Cytometry.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:
1.) Performs testing in the Flow Cytometry.
2.) Enters and releases required information in the LIS, such as test results, comments, and quality control results.
3.) Responsible for the performance of required manual procedures and operation of automated instrumentation under the supervision of the assistant supervisor.
4.) Prepares and stores samples.
5.) Prepares reagents as needed, maintains quality control records, complies any required statistical data and maintains the cleanliness of work areas.
6.) Consults with laboratory supervisory staff prior to reporting grossly abnormal results and when OUT OF CONTROL test run is encountered.
7.) Performs other relevant tasks as requested.

Authority
Performs testing in Infectious Disease
Enters and releases required information in the LIS.
Prepare reagents and samples.

Qualifications/Experience Required
• Bachelors’ degree in biomedical science related field*.
• At Least one year of relevant experience in Flow Cytometry
• Knowledge of chemical, biological and troubleshooting, and microscope
