We are currently searching for a full time Accounts Receivable Representative. Accounts Receivable Representatives ensure expected reimbursement received for services rendered is thorough, accurate and timely. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:* Maximizes customer satisfaction by accurate, timely and respectful responses to all customers.* Representatives prepare electronic claims for submission to payors and intermediaries following departmental policy, government and third party regulations.* Complete download/upload transfer of billing files.* Function is performed utilizing reports generated from billing and electronic vendor systems.* Review, report and identify accounts that require intervention for accurate/appropriate billing within the scope of compliance.* Determine appropriate action to be taken for resolution of accounts, including referral to other department(s).* Where applicable, make necessary correction in billing system(s).* Track referred accounts for timely feedback and resolution.* Confirm successful transmission of electronic submission(s).* Inform Supervisor of any discrepancies or abnormal results.* Prepare paper claims for submission to payors and intermediaries following departmental policy, government and third party regulations.* Review bill form for completeness.* Review, report and identify accounts that require intervention for accurate/appropriate billing within the scope of compliance.* Determine appropriate action to be taken for resolution of accounts, including referral to other department(s).
