Fandango is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Accountant Consultant.  We are looking for an extremely detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a small team-based environment.
 
Job responsibilities include the following:

Assist with month-end close process
Generate daily journal entries and verify accuracy
Organize and maintain monthly accounting records
Receive and review daily bank statements
Reconcile cash accounts on a daily basis
Complete a daily cash summary report for management use
Provide research support to resolve exhibitor cash reconciliation issues
Complete ongoing accounting research projects
Generate and report weekly sales to exhibitor partners
Manage Billing and A/R, and communicate with sales customers
Prepare sales commissions
Compile and prepare journal entry for Fandango Bucks revenue recognition and breakage
Complete month-end account reconciliations
Assist with annual audit and tax preparation
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Other various special projects as assigned

 
To be successful in this position you must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of 4+ years of prior A/P, A/R and cash reconciliation experience. 
Expert level MS Excel and Word skills are required. 
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Supportive teamwork attitude
Ability to work independently
Prior experience with MAS 90, Oracle and Essbase a definite plus.
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at Fandango’s sole discretion
Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
