Responsible for the operational components and implementation of specific Medicare products such as TrOOP Balance Transfer, State to Plan, COB, EOB, PlanFinder and/or CMS Reporting. This position resides within the PBM Government Operations department. Program managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise/regional program. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: coordinates and manages the development, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going programs; develops program budget; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends; manages relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas; coordinates training related to program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success. Development of policies and procedures for the program. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of experience in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to field preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills required. Proven planning and organizational skills to ensure development and maintenance of relationships across organization. Understanding of complex business processes required. Project management experience preferred. Medicare Part D experience strongly preferred. PBM and Pharmacy Claims Processing experience preferred. Experience with development of policies and procedures for the program. Proficient with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, & Project).
