Major Account Executive - Telecom - NYC
Our client provides hosting, collocation, and datacenter solutions to the top 20 telecommunication companies nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Major Account Executive to sell into the Telecom companies in the New York Area. The successful candidate MUST have 10 years background in Telecom Services.

Company Size: Medium – under $100MM
Travel Requirements: 40%
Base Salary: $130,000
Total Compensation: $230,000
Stock: They're offering 700 shares of stock and a 6-month non-recoverable draw.

Experience:
* Seeking an Executive in Business Development with over 10 years of experience selling into the Telecommunications Industry.
* Experience selling Datacenters Solutions will be a huge plus
Responsibilities:
* This position is selling into the top 20 carriers, accounts such as A&TT, Verizon, AboveNet, Level 3, Qwest, etc.
* This person will be a Named Account Manager/Overlay person and will be carrying a quota that will be determined later.
* They have a Sales Engineer currently in place to help pulls deals thru the pipeline.
* Ability to lead and close large multi-MN multi-year pursuits
