Job responsibilities
* Ensure that the company's financial records are complete, accurate and up-to-date at all times, together with the related records of company assets such as inventory, fixed and intangible assets
* Manage and motivate the finance function to operate in accordance with the company's internal financial control standards.
* Advise senior management on the risks and implications of business issues and strategic decisions, business sensitivities and limiting factors.
* Develop and maintain regular reports to support the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, together with other internal requirements.
* Actively participate in pricing decisions.
* Ensure that the company's accounting and costing systems are appropriate to the business needs.
* Reporting and accounting, regulatory and other legal requirements including taxation, distributions and the annual report and accounts.
* Managing the interaction with statutory, internal and government auditors.
* Manage the annual budgeting process.
* Manage and control the company's cash flow, funding and foreign currency requirements.
* Manage major customer and partner relationships and the related credit control aspects.
* Identify and support cost reduction opportunities.
* Identify and select resources required to implement finance departmental goals (people, equipment).
* Manage payroll functions and Employee Benefits Programs
* Manage the business's information technology infrastructure to ensure that the maximum business benefits are obtained, whilst ensuring that there is full compliance with the Group's Information Technology security policy
* To carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Company President/ Managing Director
Candidate Profile * Positive “can do” attitude.
* CPA Required
* Enthusiasm and drive to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Capable of understanding the “big picture” while maintaining a detailed understanding of the underlying detail.
* A self-starter with the skill to communicate clearly both upwards and downwards in the organisation, both within the Company and in exchanges with other parts of the company.
* Confidence to operate effectively in a multi-disciplined team.
* Computer literate and comfortable with ERP/MRP and integrated accounting software.
* Effective team leader
