Title
– Vice President & General Manager Japan Sales
Role & Responsibility
– This is the top executive in Japan reporting to the Senior VP of World Wide Field Operations. Primary responsibility is to manage the Japan sales and customer/field operations.
Direct reports
– 5 total, (2 in sales, 2 in pre-sales technical support, 1 sales coordinator)
Indirect reports
– approximately 15-16 (includes 1-2 in R&D, 10-12 in Customer service engineering, 1 finance, 1 IT)
Revenue responsibility
– current revenue is approximately $12M per year, need to ramp the business to $30M per year.
Major customers
– Fujitsu, NEC, Sony, Panasonic
Primary products being sold today

PC BIOS solution, creating mobile, desktop, and server solutions that exceed our customer's expectations. Software-as-a-service solution that can prevent a PC and a user's information from becoming lost or stolen. The irremovable agent resides on the PC and can track and/or disable the PC, if it's ever lost or stolen. Using the Internet, it can also retrieve copies of files and delete the information stored on the missing PC.
Candidate preferred background –
Aggressive
minded proven executive, background in software, selling experience with OEM PC companies in Japan and carrier companies as well. Need to be comfortable with US company start-up mind set and actionable model. Must be fluent in Japanese and English a requirement. Prefer US educated individual.
Location
– May reside in San Francisco Bay Area with location and commute to Japan or full time resident of Japan.
