Our client specializes in helping organizations enforce best-practice email and web use, ensuring all traffic complies with internal policy and external regulations. Their range of content filtering solutions makes it easy to deploy, manage and maintain no-compromise email and web security for both inbound and outbound traffic.
They are the leader in this category and the only vendor to offer comprehensive and policy based content security. Due to growth and expansion they are looking for a manager to drive and build their inside sales team.
Position Description:
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to enter the exciting and lucrative world or technology sales but does not have outside sales experience. As an integral member of the sales team you will be responsible for the qualification and development of qualified sales opportunities and working closely with sales, sales operations, marketing and product management departments.
Specific duties will include:
1. Managing and inside sales team/ lead generation initiative
2. Generating qualified leads and submitting to appropriate sales rep and monitoring follow-up
3. Meet monthly lead quota for sales team you support
4. Pre-qualifying incoming leads before issuing on to an outside sales team
5. Follow-up on all trade show deals
6. Orchestrate and coordinate product demos and trials
Qualifications/Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 2( ) years of previous inside sales, telesales experience. Additional requirements include:
1. Verifiable cold calling skills and success
2. Ability to evaluate and modify as needed a lead generation program
3. Comfortable articulating business benefits and functionally of software solutions
4. Able to handle objections and probe for business opportunities
5. Experience using a Sales Force automation solution such as salesforce.com or something similar
6. Positive, upbeat and aggressive personality
7. College degree is preferred but not required
8. A “whatever it takes” work ethic is a must
