•Java experience a must, C experience very desirable
•TCP/IP network programming experience
•Object Oriented Design/Programming
• Expertise with J2SE 1.5/Java SE 6 including collections, NIO, multithreading & concurrency, XML and one or more of Spring framework, ActiveMQ, Apache MINA, QuickFIX/J
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies including related technologies: Ant, Eclipse, JUnit and SVN
•Experience with JMX, AOP, JVM tuning, Real-Time extensions a plus
•Knowledge of Equity Trading and associated protocols is a significant plus
•Experience working on Real-Time Distributed Systems is a significant plus
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
