Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the VP, Finance, with a dotted line to each Business Unit Head, the Director of Finance is responsible for the management of financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis, along with providing operational and strategic guidance to each of the business units. The Director participates as a key member of each BU's management team to provide a full range of financial leadership.

This position is responsible for the development of an annual business plan by month (including gross and net sales, gross margin, expenses, direct contribution and capital expenditures) as well as the tracking and monitoring of performance against plan and prior year. The Director of Finance interacts on day-to-day basis with the business unit management teams for all financial, budgetary, operational and strategic business issues. Both the business units and Finance must be advised of any significant variances from plan along with recommended corrective action. The Director of Finance is responsible for identifying and implementing policies/processes to improve the visibility, control and accountability of spending within the channel. Responsibilities also include presenting weekly, monthly and quarterly financial updates to the business units and Finance and Coach Senior Management. The Director of Finance is required to develop models and prepare financial analyses related to the expansion of existing businesses, competitive conditions, markets and new ventures. Working with the Corporate Planning Department, this position manages the financial planning process.

Oversee preparation and monitor reports which highlight the operational results, forecasts and annual plans to inform business unit management and senior company management of business and financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, YTD and annual basis.
Drive the implementation of budgets, detailed business plans and forecasts with business unit management. Manage the preparation and reporting of business unit activities.
