The IT Compliance Director drives the compliance agenda for IT. The IT Compliance Director will be responsible for representing all technology disciplines within IT, partnering with the appropriate IT areas as needed to involve subject matter experts.
The IT Compliance Manager will:
* Lead the ongoing compliance effort across all teams within Information Technology including application and infrastructure areas.
* Support the IT organization through any internal and external audits or regular annual PCI, SOX, HIPAA, PII assessments.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, all applicable regulations, as well as company policies.
* Develop and maintain Information Security Strategy, Policy and Standards.
* Execute independent assessments and risk evaluations focusing on controls, processes, and systems.
* Advise on risks and best practices where applicable.
* Proactively identifies control and/or operational deficiencies that could adversely impact organizational compliance and provide sound remediation solutions.
* Develop effective internal assessment plans and communicate clearly with management; escalate issues appropriately.
* Consults with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Loss Prevention and business units to drive continuous improvement throughout the compliance process.

Other responsibilities include:
* Identify touch points (from a compliance perspective) for new technologies or new implementations to ensure that implementations continue to enable or sustain compliance.
* Approve any new IT standards (specific to any new compliance technologies).
* Review Compliance solutions and standards with Enterprise Architecture
* Other assignments, projects, and duties as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* 10 years information technology experience.
* 10 years experience in IT Auditing or IT Compliance function.
*Has certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional).
* MBA or equivalent preferred* Experience in regulatory compliance and knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), ISO27001, Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills.
* Results-oriented individual with a strong process improvement mindset and a passion for quality.
