Position is based in Burlington, right outside of Boston
Comp $85K to $110K plus bonus…..local candidates only, no relo

As a Tax Manager in our Exempt/Non-Profit practice you will be responsible for providing and overseeing quality income tax services for the Firm's diverse clients.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Managing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
• Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients.
• Ability to manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
• Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.
• Initiating “cross selling” business to other practices.
• Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
• Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm's standards and policies.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 4 – 6 years experience working in a public accounting firm with a concentration in tax.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with Tax Exempt Clients preparing and reviewing Form 990/990-T
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA certification or Masters in Taxation preferred.
• IRS representation experience on industry specific issues affecting the varied components of the not-for-profit sector.
• Successful record of building profitable, sustainable, client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability managing multiple projects and engagement teams.
