West Coast Regional Sales Manager


Our client is a well-established, family owned meat processing company in their 2nd generation of business servicing restaurants and restaurant groups throughout the U.S. They have state of the art manufacturing facilities with an outstanding reputation for selling quality vs. price.

Job Description:

This opportunity provides you to work from a home office, servicing foodservice clients in CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, and UT.

The Sales Manager will work with their sales team to grow sales in their specific territory. This will include sales plan development and execution, new business prospecting, sales strategy development, coaching and developing Territory and Key Account Managers, completing annual performance reviews, develop and conduct customer business planning and reviews, and analyze sales reports. This position requires about 70% travel.



Qualifications/Salary Information

* 3 to 5 years food service experience and accomplishments selling direct to restaurants and restaurant groups
* Experience managing a sales team (hiring, training, motivating, firing a direct sales force) note not managing food brokers
* Perishable food experience
* Must be tough minded, results oriented
* $60 - $90 base $10 - $15 bonus
* Car allowance $500, cell phone allowance $150
* 100% paid medical insurance
* 401k with 3% match
