The Director of Human Resources will oversee the day-to-day HR functions for the Corp office. This is the TOP HR ROLE and the person will administer the Human Resources programs for their clients including development of business partnerships, employee relations, training, organizational design and development, compensation and benefit administration. This person will collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to Executive management. The Human Resources Director will provide support and information to clients to assist with corporate strategy and meet the needs of the business, while providing a positive environment that reduces legal risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Employee Relations and Performance Management
Ensures the performance management process is addressed and employee relations concerns are resolved. This individual will be a coach and adviser to the client, a resource to the employees, and a role model to all. Ensures consistent adherence to policies and programs with an effort to minimize company liability and exposure, and to enhance employee morale and effectiveness. Administers the performance review process for clients. Counsels employees and management as required and ensures consistency and fairness in policy implementation. Responds to and investigates internal and external claims against SVB. Partners and consults with management to ensure employee needs are met in areas such as training, career development, succession planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
Compensation and Benefits

Interfaces, facilitates and serve as advocates for client organizations in matters of compensation and benefits as needed. May counsel employees and managers with input of appropriate HR functional area.

New Hires/Terminations/Leaves of Absence

Ensures smooth transition for new hires and transfers for client organizations. Conducts exit interviews for terminating employees.
