Euro RSCG Edge is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive for employment in Carlsbad, California. This individual will be responsible for selling all aspects of Euro's multi-channel marketing practice including Customer Engagement, Success Planning, CRM, DRTV Creative and Production, Media Services, Online Marketing, and Web Development.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in an aggressive sales environment and have no aversion to the dogged pursuit of target accounts on a national scale. Previous experience selling agency services and direct marketing is required. The aforementioned includes cold-calling, lead generation tactics, etc.

Further responsibilities include:
* Identifying and assessing prospects and managing the development thereof through deal phase
* Researching, identifying and doggedly pursuing additional revenue opportunities
* Initiating proposals, negotiations and presentations for business development opportunities
* Cultivating new accounts through cold calling, networking, and within agency network
* Evaluating and responding to proposals received for new business
* Makes prospect recommendations to EVP of Business Development
* Manage, consult and collaborate with internal cross-functional team throughout sales cycle
* Maintain frequent and personal contact with prospective corporate business customers to build strong relationships
* Submit weekly call reports and supervise contact database
* Meet and exceed monthly lead, pitch and close quotas
Please note this is not an entry, junior or mid-level position. We are seeking a proven performer that can demonstrate his or her proven success in a previous business to business sales environment.

A minimum 7 years of successful sales experience is required, preferably in an agency setting or vertical market.
