Product Manager, Internet Test and Measurement
The company is on the lookout for a Product Manager to work with the world's largest Internet companies who are our customers. This position gives you tremendous experience to lead a company or a division in the future because it combines: inbound product management, outbound product marketing, business development and M&A experience. You will drive the business strategy, all product development and some product marketing for our Internet Test and Measurement business.
You will enhance the company's Internet test and measurement products; these SaaS products test, measure and improve an online business's service levels in real-time from more than 2,400 measurement computers and mobile devices in more than 240 locations and 160 metropolitan areas. You will work closely with the CEO and executives at the company, customers among top Internet companies like eBay, Google, MSN, Yahoo and others, an engineering team that has pioneered on-demand software, and sales and marketing. You will be responsible for developing product strategy, defining product requirements, establishing competitive SWOTs, and raising the level of awareness of your products by establishing partnerships with the world's top Internet companies, and also evaluating and acquiring other companies.

Responsibilities include:
• Drive product direction and define product requirements by gathering requirements from customers, and by evaluating competitors.
• Write PRDs prioritizing features and interface requirements with engineering and operations teams to drive products to timely release.
• Position products and develop customer and field-ready core content, key press/analyst briefings, demos and collateral.
• Provide training and technical content to marketing managers and sales, re-enforcing the competitive positioning of the products.
• Write competitive briefs and equip engineering and sales with competitive intelligence.
• Support sales efforts by being a technical product evangelist, create demos for sales engineers to deliver, and train sales and support.
• Meet with customers to deliver product roadmaps, and communicate product strategy both within the company and in the market.
• Drive business development relationships with other Internet companies, as well as identify, evaluate and acquire companies in your market.

Requirements include:
• Experience with Internet application testing, performance monitoring, and Web acceleration products/services highly desirable.
• Strong technical and business knowledge of the Internet, Web applications and content, enterprise software, and networking technologies.
• Exceptional ability to communicate recommendations and influence change based on market and customer research findings.
• Ability to work comfortably and effectively with senior level executives both internally and externally.
• Experience working with IT staff in large Internet or enterprise customers (organizations of 2000 or more).
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent engineering degree) and MBA preferred.
