Position Description:
Define the vision and objectives of alliances on a regional basis
- Maintain comprehensive business, marketing, and industry plans and execute to achieve stated objectives
- Act as business architect for alliance program and initiatives
- Create new initiatives with partners to solve strategic and customer issues
- Facilitate executive exchanges of strategic direction/business issues
- Act as the first pass filter for new market opportunities
- Assist investment opportunities; qualification, sponsors and partners
- Facilitate global cooperation for complex multinational initiatives
- Forecast potential areas of overlap with partner
- Executive level interaction with Alliances
- Effectively manage the team resources to achieve strong tangible returns
- Develop a cohesive, result oriented team
Qualifications/Requirements:
BS/BA or equivalent required (MS/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of Alliance partnership related experience required
- Experience in a variety of sales, management, and/or technical roles required
- Excellent technical and business acumen to play an advisory role to startups
- Strong influencing skills to leverage others internal organizations
- High ambiguity tolerance and ability to cope in a fast changing environment
- Capable of applying product and technical knowledge to propose solutions and resolve business issues
- Strong customer facing, marketing, presentation, business development and strategic thinking skills
