Consulting manager (
Banking/Financial Services Industry experience)

With a strong emphasis on the redesign of business processes and technology operations, the Consulting Manager
* works with the principal and other consulting managers to help develop consulting services solution offerings specific to the assigned domain practice area
* works with a set of consulting, account and technology delivery teams at existing client organizations on a short-to-mid term basis and influences positioning and orientation
* provides thought leadership to influence clients in proposals and business development activities to existing, new, and prospective clients
* leads delivery and implementation of consulting services; and generates pull through technology services revenue leveraging a global delivery model

Desired Qualifications:
A mastery of investment management operations and technology is required, with practical expert level consulting and/or implementation in one or more of the following areas, Distribution – implementation of direct and partner channels, web strategies, consultant channel management, and fund of funds marketingFront Office – research and analytics, portfolio management, order management, execution management, trade complianceBack Office – trade management, settlement, reconciliation, and various accounting variants (investment, partnership, fund, trust)Middle Office - performance measurement, attribution, risk analytics, client reporting, post trade compliance, regulatory compliance, investment product designCommon Services – reference data maintenance, operational data and distribution, messaging infrastructureacross one or more lines of business - institutional, mutual fund, alternatives, and wealth management.
* Minimum of 10-12 years combined consulting, business development, technology management, and/or software services experience in capital markets
* Extensive large/complex consulting engagement experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
* Strong understanding of business processes and domain models. Familiarity with business process modeling tools a plus
* Up to date awareness of the COTS product landscape in domain area a must

1. Strong results orientation with the ability to positively affect outcomes at C-levels.2. Must lead consulting teams and facilitate executive and subject matter interviews and other structured information gathering sessions3. Extreme emphasis on developing and delivering presentations and written materials to communicate to a large, culturally/geographically diverse customer base4. Effective negotiation and arbitration skills along with the ability to appropriately set customer expectations5. Establish thought leadership position with key stakeholders and long term relationships with key clients – resulting in trusted partner status and repeatable revenue streams General internal expectations:

1. Must have the capability to operate at multiple levels of abstraction and detail – ensure quality of deliverables and inject creativity in proposals 2. Continually contribute to practice-level solutions and influence a positive feedback loop with client-level implementations3. Ability to efficiently manage time and leverage a global team - meeting deadlines without sacrificing the quality of the services4. Excellent leadership, organizational, decision making and team building skills to manage geographically and internationally dispersed and matrixed teams5. Requires domestic and international travel.
