Regional Sales Manager – Midwest
Our Client is a market leader and rapidly expanding resource to injured patients and their advocates. In addition to the help they provide to the injured patient, they are a powerful resource to those who represent injured patients. They serve attorneys and physicians by minimizing time and expense on medication and reimbursement issues. Their team is dedicated to setting a model of excellence in serving injured patients, their families, and the professionals who help them.
The Regional Manager will be a key member of the Sales & Marketing team and will have primary responsibility for obtaining sales results. This person is responsible for driving and achieving sales results and implementing innovative and integrated sales and marketing initiatives within an assigned territory. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and profitability of assigned sales territories that includes hiring, managing and developing individual Account Managers.
The successful candidate will have proven and verifiable results as a Sales Manager in one or more of the following industries: pharmaceutical, medical, insurance, legal or a regulated industry, with demonstrated sales management success The successful candidate must be able to monitor, motivate and lead the company's sales resource.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership and direction that result in creating new strategic business relationships while expanding established major accounts. Within this context, the successful candidate will
* Achieve growth-oriented revenue goals andobjectives
* Lead and develop the sales team to support salesstrategies and to deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth and results
* Recommend, obtain buy-in, and implement anychanges needed to align the sales organization with the company's overallstrategy
* Develop strong ties with key customers and keyaccounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely toimpact the market
* Advise senior management team on salesdirections, competitors and market trends
* Create and sustain effective collaborativepartnerships with all managers and departments
* Analyze and provide market analysis to improveproduct service positioning and to increase the effectiveness of the salesteam
* Maintain up to date knowledge of the regulatoryenvironment surrounding workers compensation
* Extensive overnight travel within RegionalTerritory typically five (5) days per week
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience and demonstrated experience as a successful Sales Manager.
* Candidates must have a proven track record ofdeveloping and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans,forecasts and budgets, and achieving sales results for a non-tangibleproduct.
* Candidates must have experience in establishingbuilding strong collaborative business partnerships.
