Position Description:

The Business Development Associate is responsible for providing professional sales support for the business development team. The Business Development Associate will partner with multiple Business Development Managers to effectively assist in driving the team's success in overachieving assigned quota in key business segments and/or strategic accounts.

Perform support duties for the assigned Business Development Managers that include the following, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key individuals at assigned strategic accounts.
• Assist in managing assigned accounts to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business.
• Assist in the generation of license and service proposals by working cross functionally to insure the business needs and the assigned accounts are met.
• Manage the entire sales process for selected assigned transactions.
• Assist the Proposal Analyst and team with all aspects of the RFI and RFP completion and submission process
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding existing contracts and invoicing.
• Work with internal Finance team to assist in financial tracking at key assigned accounts.
• Work with the services group to assist the BDM team with securing resources to staff projects for assigned accounts.
• Work with the BDM and marketing team to assist in the follow up activities related to specific marketing campaigns and webinars.
• Recommend process improvements when there is recognition that there is a benefit to our customers both internal and external.
• Work with the BDM team, Legal and Finance to ensure all applicable documents are generated and put in place throughout a sales cycle.
• Lead internal department initiatives as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
* College degree or equivalent work experience.
* 3 to 5 years experience in Outside sales, inside sales, sales support, or customer service preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver on commitments.
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills with a strong dedication to the success of the team.
