Click Here to Apply OnlineGiven Imaging is redefining medical technology by developing, producing and marketing innovative, patient-friendly diagnostic products. We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team located in Duluth, Georgia.
This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing all marketing activities for
Given's Upper GI offerings, including PillCam ESO and Bravo products, and any new products,
in coordination with the Vice President, Marketing, Product Manager for Lower GI/Connectivity
offerings, Sales Training, Professional Education, as well as the Global Marketing team.
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Strategic Marketing –
Help create the Regional Strategic Marketing Plan, in alignment with Global Marketing plans, and take ownership of the execution of all facets of that plan. Develop strong relationships with representatives from all major internal and external functions and influencers who have a direct impact on the success of current and potential Given Imaging products and services.
Product Line Management –
Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Global Marketing and other key functions to ensure region-specific product-related issues are being effectively managed. Serve as the Americas marketing leader for PillCam ESO and Bravo product lines and ensure the organization understands and focuses appropriate resources on meeting regional needs. Work closely with Sales and Global Product Line leaders to design, develop, and implement the overall Marketing launch plan for new products. Revise and implement plans for marketing existing products.
Customer Management –
Segment customer types and identify target market segments. Develop outstanding relationships with customers in these targeted segments and lead the positioning of Given's offerings to these targeted customers. Understand and be able to articulate current and forthcoming customer needs in a clear and concise fashion. Be on the cutting edge of knowledge on trends and issues impacting targeted customers. Serve as the voice of the customer inside the organization and become the recognized authority on our customer base and how we can best meet their needs.
The successful candidate must possess and display the following skills and personal attributes:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing; MBA preferred
5 years of Marketing or Product Management experience with medical devices, focused on US market
Must be customer-focused. 3 years experience in health care sales, with a focus on the GI market , a big plus
Clinical experience would be beneficial
Capable of thinking and executing on both a strategic and tactical level
Prior experience working in a matrix environment helpful
Must conduct business with unquestionable integrity, and have a “roll up the sleeves” mentality
Passion for, and a demonstrated history of, success; Results-driven
Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and comfortable operating both independently and within groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem solver
