POSITION SUMMARY:
Invodo, Inc., a product video syndication services company located in downtown Austin, is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management. This position will work closely with the Engineering, SEO, Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure Invodo exceeds its product and sales goals. This role includes responsibility for product strategy, the product roadmap, product delivery, and spans all elements of the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience successfully bringing Web-based or software products to market from concept inception to post-launch maintenance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of the role is to achieve Invodo's product objectives all in support of Invodo's operational and financial goals. While the role has a range of responsibilities, the following are most important:- Develop and execute the product strategy for Invodo. This includes leading the management team through quarterly sessions focused on evaluating progress against the business strategy and ensuring the current roadmap is aligned.- Develop and manage the product roadmap. This entails evaluating product initiatives, building business cases, leading the executive team through the prioritization process, and keeping the business and development teams up to speed. - Work directly with the Engineering team to allocate development effort against product initiatives. Lead daily “stand up” meetings.- Participate in management team strategy discussions and represent the product and consumer perspective.- Identify market needs / gaps and recommend product initiatives to capitalize on the opportunities. Develop business cases in support of product recommendations. - Write business and product requirements for all product initiatives while obtaining input from the project's business sponsor(s).- Monitor product impact after launch and provide feedback / post-mortem on results vs. expectations.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
6 years of proven success bringing Web-based or software products to market from beginning to end.Retailer and / or ecommerce experience preferred.- Significant experience evaluating market opportunities and developing product concepts to match- Significant experience writing detailed business and product requirements.- Deep understanding of the engineering / product building process- Ability to create and manage financial models including metrics based projections and ROI based conclusions. - Excellent communications and problem solving skills. Ability to make decisions in a dynamic / fast-paced environment, communicate rationale, and make adjustments mid-course.- Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action.- A strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment.- Strategic and out-of-the-box thinker who can lead overall development of Invodo's products.- A will to win. Must be driven to achieve personal and team goals.- Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-changing environment.- 4-year degree in Business or Engineering-related field. MBA preferred.
