Seeking an individual who has 6-10 years total experience inclusive of sales, trade marketing, sales planning and thrives in a cross functional with a leaqding consumer products company.

Great career path to develop to a director level in Trade marketing or to a major customer team leader (This is deemed as a career progression position leading to a National Sales Team Leader or a Trade Director. NOT seeking candidates already at that level and willing to take a step back)
Key Initiatives:
Responsible for creating strategy and adapting the brand plan to the national account.
Direct the development of effective trade programs that drive customer profitability and consumer demand.
Develop category management process and advance the analytical capabilities of the sales organization.
Assists in the development of the annual trade budget and quotas.
Directs and manages sales and marketing business systems (IRI, Sales System) and monthly reporting to all levels of management.
Oversees all Sales Operations functions including deductions, daily sales reporting, customer service communications, and internal sales processes.
Champion new product market entry and execution. Includes managing the development of sales presentation/materials and managing tracking/analyzing the market implementation.
Develop Channel strategy for optimal product assortment and placement utilizing store shelf space more efficiently, satisfying consumer needs and eliminating stock-outs in accordance with category success models.
Skills

6-10 years CPG industry in National Sales and Trade Marketing

experience inclusive of cross functional experience as this person will communicate on a daily basis with brand marketing, materials coordinators, sales finance, R&D and supply chain.
•Board room Ready Interaction with Senior Management with Company & Customers
•Expert with IRI or AC Nielsen data.
•Proven success in managing large scale projects and extensive experience working with senior level management.
•Must lead and direct all co-marketing initiatives with key customers
