Job Description:
Responsibilities:

• ETL Design and development using Abinitio
• Take ownership of designing solutions
• System Analysis & Design
• Strong Abinitio ETL design skills
• Involved in Ab Initio Design, Configuration experience in Ab Initio ETL, Data Mapping, Transformation and Loading in complex and high-volume environment and data processing at Terabytes level.
• Capacity of designing solutions around AbInitio, with advanced skills in high performance and parallelism in AbInitio
• Data Warehousing implementation experience
• Knowledge of Oracle 8i/9i
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Strong UNIX, korn shell scripting experience.
• Experience in leading a team of ETL developers
• Experience in co-ordinating with offshore on development / maintenance projects
• Overall 1-8 years of experience in IT and Data Warehousing domain.
• Strong background in Coding, designing, Analysis and implementation of Data warehouses.
• Hands on experience of minimum 2 projects using Ab Initio ETL Tool.
• Experience in PLSQL, UNIX, Database concepts.
• Should have experience in end-to-end data warehouse life cycles.
• Good understanding of quality processes.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal / communication skills.


Candidates will be responsible for:
• Designing and developing ETL solutions using Ab Initio Tool.
• Source System data and information analysis.
• Subject Area Modeling and source to target mapping.
• Identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Leads will be managing the given module of the projects in terms of planning, Review, Quality of deliverables.
• Leads and Managers are responsible for mentoring team, and meet the project schedules and review the code developed by developers.
• Interact with end users to solve issues.

Skills Required:
• Abinitio
• Oracle 8i/9i RDBMS, PLSQL, Database Stored Procedures
• Scripting skills with Unix Korn shell, Perl
• Good experience in understanding business requirements and translating these to schema requirements, good understanding of data profiling, meta data, ETL and reporting
