The Web Architect is a strong leader and team player who understands how to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving organization.

Leading staff within the Rich Media Technologies discipline and providing input on the strategic direction of the Rich Media
Technologies discipline, the Director will not only provide project specific rich media architecture guidance to delivery teams, but will :
* Be able to code and design front end architectures using combinations of the following languages (CSS, XHTML, Javascript, Actionscript 3.0)
* Manage team of front-end developers for specific projects/accounts
* Design and/or implement frameworks/core modules for front end architecture
* Work in partnership with server-side development and site architecture teams to define optimal Rich Media technology solutions and processes for constructing web applications

Knowledge/Technical Skills:
* Ability to code in multiple languages (XHTML, CSS, javaScript, AJAX, actionscript 3.0 Flash Flex, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET etc)
* Expert understanding of different JavaScript/AJAX frameworks (Prototype.js, YUI, Dojo) and Flash Frameworks (Adobe AS3/Flex, Cairngorm)
* Expert understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns
* Experience implementing data-driven web applications using various integration techniques, including web services
* Possesses a strong understanding of content management systems
* Expert understanding of key components of WEB2.0 architecture (AJAX, Social Networking, Blogs etc)
* Expert understanding of Search Engine Optimization techniques for various Rich Media Technologies (XHTML/AJAX/Flash)
* Staying involved in emerging on-line capabilities, with a focus on innovation in delivering new solutions

Education/Experience:
* Bachelors/Masters degree plus minimum 10 years experience in Consulting Services
* Experience with multiple SDLC processes
* Broad experience across the interactive space
* Rich Media Architecture experience with highly available solutions
* Ability to hand code in various front end languages (Flex, Javascript, Actionscript 3.0, X/DHTML, CSS etc)
