Click Here to Apply OnlineWorks as a senior consulting enterprise architect with Cisco's largest enterprise customers to establish an architectural agenda to solve their business problems. Builds multiple, executive-level relationships within Cisco's customers to become a trusted advisor. Leads efforts to craft and deliver business value justification, enterprise architecture & integration solutions, business process change, IT/Business governance, and organizational change management. This individual helps customers think through and define IT strategy and resulting requirements. Will create conceptual and logical architectures for the solution.
Creates and delivers innovative solutions that increase awareness, generate leads, strengthen customer relationships and build sales opportunities.
Applies relevant vertical industry experience in helping customers solve problems.
Solution Scope
Can work with a customer to facilitate IT strategy and requirements. Can then provide a complete technical solution for a large enterprise and of high complexity. Can lead multi-company, cross-functional technical teams. Can provide complete business architecture for most IT functions.
External Interface
Communicates persuasively. Excellent presentation skills. Strong communications skills across various media and to diverse audiences. Customer influence and relationship skills. Experienced track record working with senior (CxO) managers of Global 1000 companies.

Applies raw analytical power and substantial experience in solving new problems within well-defined, loosely defined and implicit constraints. Exercises wisdom in obtaining results, while enhancing the problem solving abilities of others. Identifies key current and possible future problems, and solves them inter-dependently, using professional knowledge, seasoned judgment and the policies / procedures of multiple parties. Clearly demonstrates thought leadership in tackling multiple, complex issues to create effective and lasting solutions content.
Supervision Given and Received
Works as a member of the Global Enterprise Architecture Practice. Collaborates closely with multiple parties from the customer, Cisco (across the company) and partners. Works independently and consults with Cisco executives on high level, complex issues. Leads teams of multiple parties, at the business unit, program or project level. Mentors junior team members.
Skills Required (Related Business and Technical Knowledge)
Complete technical architecture: deep expertise in two or more technology domains (network/infrastructure, data, applications / middleware) but fluency in all technology domains. Fluency in network technologies and related, advanced technologies. Expertise in most soundness disciplines (availability, security, etc.) and operations disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.) Expertise in most IT business architecture areas including business process design and governance.
Skills in directing federated teams comprised of direct reports, matrixed reports and 3rd parties. Program implementation skills including project portfolio management, and the planning, reporting and directing the work of others across multiple implementation projects concurrently. Mentors team members.
