Evaluates and treats patients per physician orders, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. Develop treatment plans at the end of the evaluation which includes measurable, objective, long and short term goals for each patient based on documented data. Screen all new patients and re-screens on an as needed basis. Communicates with families, physicians and other health team members regarding residents. Maintains timely documentation in each medical record, labor and service logs. Participates in rehabilitation team meetings and appropriate committees as requested by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.

Experience: Selected candidate must have graduated from an approved AOTA program and hold a current Louisiana State Occupational Therapist license or be eligible to receive licensure. Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population is desired, but not required.
