Property, plant and equipment accounting includes the reconciliation of work orders for capital projects in process to the general ledger, closing out completed work orders, maintaining an inventory of PP&E utilizing the Sage System software package and accounting for depreciation, asset transfers and disposals, and the preparation of analyses that compare actual capital amounts spent versus budgets.

Accounting for bank debt and subordinated debentures for all the Company?s operations includes recording all new borrowings and repayments, calculating and recording interest accruals and related expense, calculating debt covenant ratios to ensure compliance, and the accounting for deferred debt issuance costs, and deferred acquisition fees.

Account for all prepaid and accrued G/L accounts regarding property taxes, audit and legal fees, benefits, insurance, deferred debt issuance and other miscellaneous. Assign to proper account, amount, and period based on invoices received. Write associated journal entries.



A 4 year BA or BS in accounting is preferred.
