ASAP Start date. Sonographer needed for permanent position. Facility is seeking a candidate that is REGISTERED in Ultrasound and Vascular. Prefer candidate that is experienced in General, Vascular and OB. Newly renovated department that is equipped with state of the art Philips IU22 equipment. Duties include performing diagnostic medical sonography when ordered by a provider, operating equipment, & maintaining equipment and supplies. Must accept responsibility for quality exams, assist in teaching and orientation of new associates when necessary, and assume a professional role in providing appropriate medical care to patients. May be asked to assist in other duties of the diagnostic department when imaging is not required. Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of Diagnostic Ultrasound, Registered in Sonography & Vascular, and flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty. On call requirement is every 4th week; weekend requirement is every 2nd or 3rd weekend. BLS required. 090909 15
