In this position, you'll compound and dispense medications using prescriptions authorized by a physician. You'll instruct patients on medication including potential drug interactions and review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions. Under supervision of the Director, the Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and accurate rational distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated hospital areas. Duties executed per state/federal law and JCAHO/hospital standards. Requirements: UT pharmacy license or license eligible. 1-3 years experience in acute care preferred. Will accept retail experience. We have 2 positions available. Day and Night Shift available.
