A Multi-specialty Primary Care Practice is expanding and needs to add a FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER / FNP. The approximate case load is 20-30 pts per day. . The patient population is a mix of adult and pediatric with complex medical problems. ** NEW GRADS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY.

* LOCATED in the beautiful Adirondack Region of Northern New York State. Located 75 miles south of the St. Lawrence River and the US/Canadian Border and one (1) hour east of Lake Ontario of the Great Lakes. The close proximity to Canada makes international travel to Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto by auto or air a simple trek. There is a abundance of year round outdoor recreation. Lake Ontario, the St Lawrence River, the Black River, the Indian Lakes Region provide some of the best fishing, boating and sailing, canoing, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving and whitewater rafting in the world. Winter brings lake effect snow with unparalleled snowmobiling trails, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, skating, and hunting. Only a two and one half (2 1/2) hour drive from Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain Ski resort and 15 minutes from Snow Ridge Ski Resort, which are among the most scenic and finest ski resorts in the world. * COMPENSATION starts at 62,800k for recent graduates and up to 100k based on experience. .

* JOB TYPE is Permanent/Retained Employee, Full-time.

* WORK SCHEDULE is Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 4:00 pm, which totals approximately a 36 hour work week.

* LICENSE and EDUCATION required is a application for or possession of a New York State license, DEA#, CPR, PALS, and ACLS. Degree must be a MSN from an accredited and approved program. DEA license is required.

* JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Provide direct patient care to well and ill adult and pediatric patient populations.
* Provide immunizations, developmental, hearing & vision screenings.
* Complete school and work physicals as well as nutritional consultation.
* Prescribe and monitor use of medications.
