Technical Consultant/Web Developer. Expertise in web development, programming, networking, database administration and design required to build and implement the infrastructure for high-performance, interactive, web-based applications and websites. We are looking for THE BEST e-commerce developer.
This role will be critical to building and maintaining the company's brand on the Internet.

Primary Responsibilities
* Lead strategic initiative to build, implement, and support company's ecommerce efforts, online retail sales, and social networking websites.
* Translate non-technical business requirements into dynamic, functional web applications.
* Involved in the entire software development lifecycle: develop functional specifications, architect appropriate solutions, drive development, oversee deployment, and ensure the highest quality code, testing, and usage experience.
* Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies related to online retail, social networking, web application development, and general software enhancements.
* Integrate 3rd party applications into the core company websites as necessary.
* Support web analytics and search engine optimization efforts through diligent coding practices.
* Ensure objectives are met in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding criteria.
* Keep management informed of progress and issues.
* Write technical reports and manuals.
* Provide network and systems
support as necessary.
Technical Skills
* Demonstrated strength in identifying system solutions for evolving business requirements.
* Ability to thinking strategically about integrating solutions into the enterprise environment.
* Web development skills and e
xpert knowledge of: HTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, JavaScript,
Web Services (REST/SOAP), PHP, PL/SQL, ASP.Net, C#.
* Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Subversion, AJAX, jQuery, Dreamweaver.
* Ability to create dynamic pages utilizing database integration. Experience using SQL Server Express.
* Knowledge of web standards and browser compatibility issues
and
how to administer web servers.
* Experience with ecommerce integration.
* Web 2.0, social networking API experience.
* Understanding of SEO best practices.

Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred or related field.
* 7-10 years of professional experience in IT with proven track record of success in web development.
* Solid experience in transforming customer business requirements into comprehensive solutions using the appropriate methods, tools, and technologies.
* Thorough understanding of network and server infrastructure, latency monitoring and performance tuning.
* Must demonstrate ability to analyze complex business/technical problems, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions in a proactive, self-directed manner.
