Major Retail corporation located near Westbury NY has the following needs:
Vice President, Enterprise Initiatives and Operations
Post merger integration programs/ operations management and financial analysis/ PMP/ consulting exp
This position will work closely with the SVP, Operations, as well as the Executive Team, to provide strategic and tactical direction
in all areas which will optimize enterprise performance.
Responsibilities:
Areas of focus and influence for the VP Enterprise Initiatives will include but not be limited to:
* Lead the Performance Enhancement Program (PEP). The PEP program is asuite of projects selected every year for their potential to improveprofitability, customer service and experience or streamlineoperations. The program typicallymanages between 30-40 projects annually and drives about $10MM inincremental profitability
* Support M&A integration activitiesincluding: Post merger integrationplanning, execution of integration plan, implementation and tracking ofdeal synergies and redesign of post merger organizational structure
* Spearhead operational strategic planning andexecution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiencythroughout the company's operations.
* Interact regularly with executive team,individual department heads and brand leadership to ensure that company'soperational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
* Continually investigate and introduce processimprovement measures and present suggestions to Executive OperatingCommittee for consideration.
* Evaluate organizational structure and business integration opportunities at a time of high growth and M&A activity.
* Work closely with IT to evaluate large scale system application implementations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* College degree a must, MBA preferred
* Experience with post merger integration programs
* Strong focus on operations management and financial analysis
* 3-7 years of consulting experience preferred
* Experienced executive who has been responsible for creating an environment in which scalable, disciplined, efficient project management practices are implemented within an organization.
* The ideal candidate will be a certified project management professional (PMP),
and will have a strong background in standardized methodologies, metrics, tools, processes and best practices.
