The Information Technology group provides technology leadership and innovation for business solutions that support Mercks divisions including Research and Development (R&D) Manufacturing Sales and Marketing and Corporate functions such as Finance and Human Resources. Responsibilities of these positions include providing:

· Business process reengineering project management change management business analysis process control and laboratory automation policy development and corporate compliance

· Enterprise Architecture: defining applying and executing IT architecture including business process information architecture and innovative technology design; IT architecture & integration (people process information and technology)

· Global Infrastructure: global networking and server infrastructure including design development and maintenance; office tools such as e-mail and collaborative groupware
