Summary
 
Our Business Intelligence Group (BIG) is looking for a Director of Ad Sales Analytics. This opportunity plays a key role in the BI Group’s ability to provide information and data driven insights regarding markets, customers, brand that guide strategic direction and enhances the quality of business decisions. In other words, you drive the success of our future actions!
 
Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require:
 
The Director, Ad Sales Analytics will provide quantitative recommendations to the Sales leaders for strategic planning and execution based on leveraging internal and external business intelligence that leads to achieving multi year growth strategies.
 
The Director, Ad Sales Analytics will lead the strategy and analytics reporting by conducting financial and sales performance reporting and analytics to include the following:
 

Become a leader to the Ad Sales Team (Sales and Ad Operations), supporting, reporting and ad hoc queries (forecasting, trends, etc).
Revenue reporting, forecasting, trend analysis, research into probable cause and future influencers.
Manage the generation of reports from external and internal data sources, ensuring the creation of actionable trend information, and ensuring that internal team members have the information necessary to make informed business and sales decisions.
Industry trend analysis and implications (for example, IAB Standards, eMarketer, Nielsen) to provide context around recommendations/insights.
Sales performance dashboards with historical analysis and forecasting via various ad sales tracking tools (which include, but not exclusive to Salesforce.com, Doubleclick (DSM/DFP)
Identify actionable opportunities that enhance yield (inventory & price) using available tools.
Utilize dashboards for key performance indicators via Salesforce.com, etc and where relevant other BI technologies to improve the efficiency of reporting and analytics
Support the VP, Business Intelligence and other business units with various projects.

Education and Experience:

Leadership of analytical and financial reporting
10+years work experience with ad sales analytics and online metrics
MBA preferred, but not required
Experience with online ad sales tools including Salesforce.com, Doubleclick (DSM & DFP) required
Strong Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups etc), PowerPoint skills.
Exceptional communications skills; written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding and fast growth culture and have the aptitude to create insights, analysis and infrastructure “from the ground up”.
Experience in on line industry particularly media/entertainment preferred
Able to effectively manage multiple projects through completion .
